Having until recenty played 010/0.25 on pokerstars and managing to get my bankroll upto 200, starting from 50, I moved to another site where the competition I found to be easier. PKR seems to be the joke of online poker sites, and as such I decided to play there to check out the action.

I\’ve heard people say Bodog.com is the loosest, juiciest site for low stakes cash games, but PKR must be a close second. The players/flop ratio must be close to 80%. I played 6-max and had people open-limping UTG about 2 orbits straight, who would then call 5-6 BB raises out of position to any raise from any player. Needless to say, I was quite excited.

I transferred my bankroll from Stars to PKR and started to play 0.10/0.25 regularly. I\’ve had quite a few winning sessions to start with and managed to pull my bankroll upto 600 through some juicy pots and my premium pairs holding up against lower pairs (and in one case AA v JT sooted for a whole buyin!!).

I then moved up to NL50, and found the competition a fraction harder, but the number of people buyin in with what is clearly their total bankroll and playing tournament poker is quite astonishing. The \”$42.87\” buyins kinda give it away. Just gotta be patient and hope someone else doesnt bust them first. I recently took a big hit with AA not holding up against JJ and 55(!!!!!) for $155 pot. (The guy-spiked a J on the turn all in preflop, not quite sure what 55 was thinking.) Then got cold decked with AJ v AQ on a AAQ – J – 4 board, when we were both on $100+.

Just recently I got back upto $400, and am sticking to NL50. Got exams monday and wednesday but might have a session tonight and update tomorrow.
